Which version of Gladys are you on?
Since November 2024 (Gladys Assistant 4.50), we use TCP instead of UDP for cameras, precisely to avoid this kind of error.
I am on V4.57.0
Ok, by any chance, do you have the full error log from the poll?
How do you retrieve the complete error log?
You told me you had gone into Gladys’ logs, normally under the log « Unable to poll » you have a more complete log ![]()

Ok, actually there’s a 10-second timeout on this request since October 2024 — do you think that could be it by any chance? Your camera taking a long time to respond / or your hardware not being powerful enough, so it takes more than 10 seconds and Gladys cuts the request?
You’re not the first to complain about it so we could try increasing the timeout
After investigation, I found a connection fault on an Ethernet cable of a camera; I no longer get the « unable to poll » message.
I’ll test tomorrow.
