Hello, I’m having trouble adding an RTSP camera.
I retrieved the RTSP URL, and when I click « Test », the preview works correctly, but I get an error message when I try to save the camera:
« An error occurred while saving the camera. »
If I click « Test » a second time, then the preview does not update (the old capture remains displayed), and a second error is displayed: « An error occurred while retrieving the RTSP stream. Are you sure the provided URL is correct and accessible from the Gladys instance? »
The stream works correctly in VLC.
Did I forget something or is there a bug?
I’ve already had this problem and I wonder if it wasn’t something like a duplicate…
Haven’t you already given the same camera name?
I don’t have any cameras in Gladys at the moment
Created and then deleted?
Also, I’m on a fresh install of Gladys.
Actually, I noticed that « Testing » at least once messes up the integration.
I finally managed to add it, if I don’t « Test ».
In summary:
- I open the Camera integration, enter my info, click « Test », it won’t work anymore
- I open the Camera integration, enter my info, click « Save », it works
Well, and I think there’s another issue.
I saved my « Street » camera and displayed it in the dashboard, it’s perfect.
I added my second camera « Garden » in the same way.
However, this one does not appear in the dashboard (the RTSP link is correct), and what’s strange is that if I go back to the integration, the « test » only works with the « Garden » camera, and no longer with the « Street » camera.
However, a few minutes later, it works fine, I have my « Garden » camera visible in the dashboard.
