hello
i have a street lamp in my garden that i had programmed to turn on 30 minutes after sunset and then turn off at 10:00 PM;
i use a classic Sonoff WiFi relay with eWeLink.
i deleted the scenes on eWeLink to be able to use Gladys, but apparently that doesn’t work — the lamp still turns on at the same time, that is 10:00 PM.
i therefore also deleted the scenes in Gladys but strangely it doesn’t change anything, it still turns on.
Has anyone ever had this kind of problem?
I very recently had a scene issue with strange behavior… it was because I had 2 instances of Gladys running at the same time (my old Raspberry Pi on which my old Gladys was installed was turned on when it shouldn’t have been).
You might have a similar problem?
Also, you could maybe run tests related to your eWeLink app, because if I understand correctly it’s on eWeLink
Are you sure it’s not the scene on the Ewelink side that’s still running?
I can confirm that on the Gladys side, a deleted scene (with triggers) is indeed removed from the schedules.
Well, I just had another look this morning with a clear head — I did indeed find the problem: it wasn’t a scene but a scheduled startup timer. I hadn’t seen it, sorry. I created this timer quite a while ago because turning on after sunset wasn’t working, so I can start from scratch and try again with Gladys.
You can delete the thread if it’s cluttering things.
Thanks
Ok, great, I’ll close the thread ![]()
