Zigbee2mqtt - Debug

I am speaking on behalf of @jparbel
Apart from the issue with the Sonoff dongle,
with the CC2652 BLE Simplelink 2.2G Zigbee2MQTT, everything seems to be working correctly.

I may have missed a message, but everything seems okay.
@pierre-gilles I am rebasing the pending PR.

Thanks @AlexTrovato! :slight_smile: As soon as I do the next release with Debian 11 and so on, I’ll merge this right after into master so it goes into the next release!

Hello everyone here! I don’t know if I’m in the right place, and if I should open a GitHub issue instead, but here’s my point.

I use Gladys on a PI4 via Docker, I have Watchtower running to update Gladys.
I realize that every time Gladys is updated, my zigbee2MQTT module no longer works, I have to go back to the configuration page (which shows no Zigbee dongle configured), and select the dongle listed in USB and save to resume my configuration.

Is this a known issue?

This reminds me of the bug we have with the MQTT integration

https://community.gladysassistant.com/t/resolu-probleme-de-connexion-mqtt-avec-sonoff/6095/31

Not to my knowledge! You can create a GitHub issue with the details :slight_smile:

Not good.

I checked the logs and found this line

2022-03-22T04:04:28+0100 <info> service.startAll.js:30 () Service zigbee2mqtt was manually stopped, so it is ignored at startup

And when checking the settings, I had indeed stopped the zigbee2mqtt service (probably because I wasn’t using it at the time)

Hello,

A quick update following the latest updates to Gladys (version 4.8.3), my Aqara Cube seems to be detected as a simple Switch now (so no display in Gladys for slide/rotate/wakeup actions) even though it is correctly detected under Z2M (version 1.24.0) and returns its status correctly.

Another point, I have a power strip from Lidl. On Z2M, there is no problem controlling the 3 switches, but on Gladys, my attempts to turn off the second switch do not work and turn off the first one (with no logs on the Gladys or Z2M side)

Do you have any ideas for these two issues?

I can’t answer you about the first problem, but for the second one:

You are not the first to report this:

Good evening @Albenss,
we’re talking about it

Hello @AlexTrovato, I have a Neo siren

Not all features are available in Gladys.
Here’s what I have in the Zigbee integration

    "alarm": false,
    "battery_low": false,
    "humidity": 55,
    "humidity_alarm": false,
    "humidity_max": 80,
    "humidity_min": 30,
    "linkquality": 162,
    "melody": 5,
    "power_type": "usb",
    "temperature": "20.8",
    "temperature_alarm": false,
    "temperature_max": 35,
    "temperature_min": 10,
    "volume": "high",
    "duration": 10

Indeed, we have not added all the features because they also need to be managed on the Gladys dashboard (and feature type in Gladys).
We will do this gradually, in my opinion.

For temperature and humidity, I don’t think it’s too necessary if we have thermometers nearby.
However, the « melody Â» feature to change according to alarms.
