At my place it’s very crowded …!!!
I just clicked ‹ Update › on my Prise Lisseur device.
I’m left with a loading icon … and absolutely nothing new in the Gladys logs.
Info:
It’s been 3 minutes since I clicked, nothing happens, however the CPU usage of my container gradually went up:

Then went back down now… yet my spinner is still spinning on my dashboard:
I should also note that my Gladys is unusable… nothing else loads in the interface ![]()
EDIT:
The memory used by the container also jumped from about 400MB to 2GB after clicking
Thanks for your feedback @guim31 !
Do you have any logs to show us? In my opinion, what’s happening is that Gladys is trying to clean up states on disk for the feature you updated…
By any chance did you change the data retention settings on these devices :
?
PS: I moved this to another thread so as not to lose the other issue from @McFlyPartages which is not the same issue ![]()
So unfortunately I don’t have any logs… well, I do have some but there’s nothing in them.
However, it’s possible that I changed those retention settings, but that was about two weeks ago (I had posted about my full hard drive issue), so I did a bit of cleanup in there.
If I understand correctly, I made the change, so the device was added
You can check in the « Background Task » tab if there have been any cleanup tasks, they appear in that tab ![]()

If I understand correctly, I made the change,
I’d like to go there but when it’s running the interface crashes
I hadn’t checked just before, but I’m almost certain that I had unchecked several settings 15 days ago
Ok, that confirms my doubts!
I created a Github issue:
No, that’s not that kind of job.
Cool! Thanks @pierre-gilles
Bug fixed in this PR :
It will be included in the next Gladys release ![]()
