zwaveJS: adding features for FGMS001

Great!

I’ll take another look at your devices 4 and 50 for the battery.

Just to be sure: does line 41-48-0-Any switch to « X minutes ago » mode at some point or not? Or does it stay stuck on « Movement detected »?

Thanks @mutmut

yes it switches back to « il y a xx minutes » (« xx minutes ago ») after a 30s delay for me.

For the other two, it may be that the report hasn’t come through yet. I have the battery of 41 that no longer reports anything now; I had to set a parameter to not report the battery if there’s no change to avoid draining the battery too quickly.

Could you give me the list of events for the two devices in question?

Several sources might be of interest:

  • from the debug info in ZwaveJsUI
  • from MQTT Explorer
  • from the events in ZwageJsUI

Thanks

That’s exactly what I thought, we had to wait, and I also changed the battery of the 4 (85%):

However, if there is no change in values, I get a « no value » in Gladys, it seems.
How can we change that? (I’m having some difficulty understanding the subtleties of MQTT configuration)

Great, thanks for your feedback!

This is a more general behavior that I also observe on my side. We could try to look into it by initializing Gladys’ state with the latest known data from the DB or via the info received during the initialization of Glays => for me that’s a whole different topic on a completely different PR (I’ll note the point, I know exactly what you’re talking about, I have the same issue… not only with zWave, Zigbee too).

I think we can therefore consider the PR as OK and functional. @pierre-gilles what do you think?
The test failure is not related to the PR’s changes:

They just need to be retried (I don’t think I can do that on my side… tell me if I can, it would avoid bothering you if it happens again).

I haven’t read the whole discussion, but if you tell me it’s ready it’s fine with me!

I reviewed the code, it looks very good to me.

Thanks to both of you for taking a look!

For the tests, I re-ran by clicking here:

It’s merged and it will be included in the next Gladys release
