Zigbee device for managing electric heating + wood stove 🪵

Hello
I have a small question that’s unrelated to the current dev work but more in terms of hardware
We just bought a house that has a wood stove and additionally an electric heating system with a pilot wire.

Until now we had gas heating and I had therefore installed the Netatmo thermostat with thermostatic radiator valves.

I would like to be able to enter a setpoint temperature as well as manage frost protection, comfort, etc. ^^

Do you know a device that would meet all my criteria in Zigbee  ?

@spenceur FYI I moved your message into a separate topic since it’s really a different subject from development

I’d install smart plugs or a relay controlled via a temperature sensor + Gladys scenes.

I thought about it but I’m not convinced the radiator appreciates the on/off switching etc ^^
I’ll look into it, thanks
Also, I’d prefer a device that controls the radiator ^^

I’m pretty much in the same setup as you, I have a pellet stove to which I’ve connected my NetAtmo and electric radiators.
I installed temperature sensors and with the Gladys thermostat and Node-RED I control my radiators using Qubino Z-Wave modules, but I’m sure you can find the equivalent in Zigbee

Ah, and what do you use your Qubino for, then?

an electric radiator with pilot wire

EDIT
Here is the Domadoo link

I searched for Zigbee but can’t find an equivalent.

I meant, can you set

No, I manage the setpoint temperature with Gladys and Node-RED. But on the pilot wire you

If your setpoint temperature is exceeded, what do you send to the radiator? « off »?
Thanks anyway

Eco, but you can turn it off.

I found this Kit de gestion de chauffage fil pilote en Zigbee compatible jeedom et eedomus [FPZIGBEE] but basic.

It’s a solution but it makes the kit expensive because the module is 13€ on domadoo and the diode only costs 0.30€ and you can even find the diode cheaper from an electronic components supplier

Thank you both, I’ll take one and I’ll give feedback ASAP
I have an electronics shop not far from my home for the diode

You’re lucky, that’s getting rarer and rarer

I’ve got two, but one is more or less far, e44 and elec44, and yeah, as for the name they didn’t bother xD

But they’re really handy

I hadn’t even noticed that it was the ZBMINI, even though I have one installed (FYI it has a short range).

Hi @spenceur,

I’m exactly in the same situation as you. The Zigbee heating control kit using a pilot wire seems like a good solution, doesn’t it?

If you

Do you think we can do better than that with only a pilot wire?
