Request to integrate Intex PureSpa

Hello to all integration developers,

If any of you want to develop an Intex PureSpa integration, I’m interested.

Thanks in advance.

I’ll take it

Hello @jerome,

It’s done: the Intex PureSpa integration is available in version 0.0.1! :tada:

Intex PureSpa

The principle
Gladys communicates directly with the spa’s Wi-Fi module on the local network (TCP port 8990). No Intex account, no cloud: it works even without the Internet.

What it does

  • Switches: power, filtration, heating, bubbles (+ jets and salt treatment depending on the model)
  • Water temperature and setpoint (°C or °F, detected from the spa)
  • Error code displayed by the panel (E81, E90…)
  • “Local” connection badge and Test Connection button
  • A dashboard widget: live temperatures, function status, heating / bubbles / filtration buttons and setpoint adjustment
  • Scene triggers: spa error detected, water temperature reached, spa no longer responding
  • Scene actions: heat the spa to…, read the spa status

Example: “every Friday at 2 p.m., heat the spa to 38 °C”, then “when the temperature is reached, send me a message” :hot_springs:

Prerequisites

  • Gladys 5.3 or newer
  • A PureSpa with Wi-Fi, already connected to your network via the Intex app
  • A fixed IP for the spa (DHCP reservation in your box)

Installation

  1. Store integrations → search for Intex PureSpa
  2. In the configuration, enter the spa’s IP (check “jets” / “salt” if your model has them)
  3. Click on Test Connection
  4. Discovery tab → add the device

I need you!
The protocol is the one used by the community (lib aio-intex-spa). I don’t have a spa on hand, so I haven’t been able to test with real hardware yet. Your feedback interests me:

  • the exact model of your spa
  • does “Test Connection” respond?
  • does heating / bubbles / setpoint react well?
  • in case of issues, the integration logs (Settings → System)

Bugs can be reported here or on GitHub: Issues · prohand/gladys-intexpurespa · GitHub

Happy bathing! :bubbles:

Great! Thanks a lot @prohand

I’ll test this quickly. I hope tomorrow and I’ll give you feedback.
