Gladys Assistant v4.8.8/v4.8.9 available, with some fixes!

Hello everyone!

Two new releases are out today, with a few fixes for Gladys :slight_smile:

  • Display of the « secret » in addition to the QR code when configuring 2FA in Gladys Plus

  • Line breaks are now displayed in chat messages in the interface. Thanks @VonOx for the fix!

  • Fixed a small bug in the Bluetooth integration, thanks @Romuald_Pochet :folded_hands:

  • Dependency updates ( #1520 )

How to update?

If you installed Gladys with the official Raspberry Pi OS image, your instances will update automatically in the coming hours. This can take up to 24h, don’t panic.

If you installed Gladys with Docker, make sure you are using Watchtower (See the documentation )

This is code put « under the radar » to prepare the alpha :wink: Hence the fact that this is a patch release and not a minor one.

But FYI they still seem to be working. The info just doesn’t display anymore.
If we create a new one it works fine (enregistrement → dashboard → intégration → Cameras → ok) :

I don’t see any reason why it doesn’t display anymore. Inspecting the page shows nothing out of the ordinary. And nothing in the Docker logs!!

I confirm, it works for me too, but more information is in the integration.

Yep, Dashboard (Alright ok we still can’t display the time - …pic… - but two hours ago it was night and the image was really black and white :joy: :joy:) and Dashboard editing works well :

What is the root cause that necessitates this modification?

I had made a small modification to this file during the spring cleaning ( Nouvelles règles ESLint + mise à jour de la browserlist + mise à jour de preact/preact-cli ), and it’s really a trivial change that caused this bug :slight_smile: My bad !
