Okay, it works.
@guim31 could you test the XML file and let me know if everything is okay?
Okay, it works.
@guim31 could you test the XML file and let me know if everything is okay?
I’ll check that out tonight ![]()
@jgcb00 I installed Gladys as is, I didn’t touch any variables at all and here’s the error I get:
root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name='gladys' --net='host' --privileged=true -e TZ="Europe/Paris" -e HOST_OS="Unraid" -e '/dev'='/dev' -e '/var/run/docker.sock'='/var/run/docker.sock' -e 'PUID'='99' -e 'PGID'='100' -v '/mnt/user/appdata/gladys/':'/var/lib/gladysassistant':'rw' -v '/var/lib/gladysassistant/gladys-production.db':'SQLITE_FILE_PATH':'rw' 'gladysassistant/gladys'
docker: Error response from daemon: invalid volume specification: '/var/lib/gladysassistant/gladys-production.db:SQLITE_FILE_PATH:rw': invalid mount config for type "bind": invalid mount path: 'SQLITE_FILE_PATH' mount path must be absolute.
See 'docker run --help'.
The command failed.
It seems there is a reversal between the host path and the container path.
It’s mainly that he considers it to be a path whereas it is supposed to be a variable, the issue.
I’ll check and fix that!
Thank you very much!
@guim31 how did you manage to import the XML? I can’t find the button/option to copy and paste an XML
Okay, that’s what I did, but since I already had the config locally, I didn’t notice that I had two of them.
For me, it works, it’s very strange.
Are you available at some point to have a check on Zoom or something?
So we can look at it together
I pushed a new config if you can retest, but it’s really very strange, I assume your Unraid version is up to date?
I just tried again, I have the same error.
If you want, I have some time in 45 minutes
EDIT: I am on Unraid 6.9.2
Is it possible to create an unRAID VM?
The XML seems fine
Okay, it works, I’ll DM you the Zoom link
I’ve never done this @VonOx
So @guim31 and I discussed it, it’s all good, it works perfectly, I submitted the request!
A few remarks about your post on the Unraid forum (https://forums.unraid.net/topic/121498-support-gladys-privacy-first-open-source-home-assistant/)
- Currently Gladys network type support only Host! This is due to the difficulty to access the USB port with another option, we are working on that
This is not the case, the network=host is necessary for integrations that do network scanning (Philips Hue), or network broadcast listening (Xiaomi)
This is not a point on which we are working (we do not want to change that, it’s by design)
Gladys needs ports 8080 and 1883-1884 to be free. It will install MQTT and Zigbee2MQTT docker
Similarly, Gladys may need these ports if the user wants to configure MQTT or Zigbee2mqtt, but we do not need these ports by default.
Same for the « It will install » → no, the user chooses in Gladys if they wish
Edit: Another remark, the title is:
[SUPPORT] GLADYS - PRIVACY-FIRST, OPEN-SOURCE HOME ASSISTANT
Can you put « GLADYS ASSISTANT »? The name of the project is really with the two words ![]()
I must admit I didn’t do much! ![]()
![]()
Ok my mistake I thought it was due to USB access and that it could be fixed
ok I will modify the other small details
Great! Is this page live? Well done ![]()
This is the home page of the Unraid applications store!
Don’t hesitate to share if something interesting happens on the instance graphs!
It was fast on the unraid side
