Binary chart: adding presences?

The binary chart works perfectly, I do get the reporting of 0s and 1s — on my side it’s validated.
However, one small improvement for the « LAN manager »: when testing the presence or absence of a smartphone, for example, it’s not possible to test for 0, only for 1 :

Would it be possible to have the ability to test 0 or 1? That would be really convenient to manage the presence or absence of a user without testing every X minutes whether the device is detected or not. I’m not sure I’m being very clear ^^
Today I perform this test with MQTT and Node-RED :

that would no longer be necessary

Why not, but won’t you catch a lot of false positives by doing that?

Is a single « non-detection » enough to assert that you’re no longer at home?

It’s a good question, I must admit that today I have no idea.
That said, today I ping every 15 minutes via Node-RED, I’ve never had any « misses »

Well, after leaving it running for a night, I do indeed have false positives and false negatives ^^:

At the top my MQTT fed via a ping in Node-RED, at the bottom the binary graph with LAN Manager.

Apparently, presence detection with LAN Manager may not be a good idea…

That’s why I recommend performing the check periodically and with a period longer than the scan frequency; that avoids these problems

Besides, I’m not convinced by LAN Manager, I personally don’t use that solution. I prefer a local phone-based solution based on Tasker (Android) / Shortcuts (iOS)

In any case, thank you for everything, I am also abandoning this solution.
Sorry for the inconvenience and especially for the time spent
