Hi everyone!
After Miele, Home Connect (Bosch, Siemens), LG ThinQ, and hOn, the Electrolux group was missing: Electrolux, AEG, Zanussi, and Frigidaire. Good news, they have an official API open to individuals, free of charge.
What it does
- Washing machines, dryers, washer-dryers, dishwashers: status, program, phase, remaining time, estimated end time, delayed start, door, alerts (salt, filter…).
- Ovens: temperature, setting, core probe, remaining time, door, controllable lighting.
- Refrigerators and freezers: adjustable setting, door of each compartment, quick mode.
- Air conditioners (including portable ones) and purifiers (Pure A9…): operation, mode, setting, ventilation, and air quality (PM2.5, PM10, VOC, CO2).
- Dehumidifiers, and Pure i9 robots (status, battery).
- Two triggers: « Cycle completed » and « Device alert », and an action to pause, resume, or stop a cycle.
- A widget « Electrolux devices »: what’s running and the remaining time.
- Changes arrive in real-time via the Electrolux stream.
- In French, English, German, and Spanish.
As with Miele, nothing that heats up starts remotely. The only possible remote start is for the washing machine, if you allow it in the configuration and the remote start is armed on the machine.
The cool part
Laundry finished → « Laundry ready (Cotton) » on the phone
In the evening, load the machine and arm the remote start; a scene launches it at 10:30 p.m. during off-peak hours
Freezer door left open → alert
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.

- On developer.electrolux.one, log in with the Electrolux or AEG app account, create an API key and a token pair.
- Paste the key and the refresh token into the configuration, then Test the connection.
- Discovery tab: add your devices.
Honest small reservations
- Cloud only. The API is limited to 5,000 calls per day, and the integration adjusts to it automatically.
- Programs are selected on the device, and their names are in English.
- Developed without a device or account, based on the real responses published with the official Electrolux SDK. I checked that Electrolux properly rejects a fake token, but a real connection still needs to be made: your feedback is welcome.
