Hi everyone!
The Heatzy module is the very French way to control electric heaters, and Heatzy is one of the most widespread modules for doing so. Here is Heatzy for Gladys: the mode of each radiator, with the native Heatzy pilot selector of Gladys.
What it does
- One device per module (Pilot v1 to v4, Pilot Pro, Glow, Onyx, Inea, Bloom): Comfort, Comfort -1 / -2, Eco, Frost Protection, Off modes, locking and programming according to the model, temperature and humidity read-only for those that have them.
- A widget « Heatzy Radiators »: the mode of each radiator and four buttons (Off requires confirmation).
- Triggers: mode changed outside of Gladys (app, programming, module button), module offline, module back online.
- Actions: set a radiator or all to a mode, start or stop the vacation mode.
The cool thing
Alarm activated → all radiators in Eco, and Comfort on return
Window open → this radiator in Frost Protection
Module offline → message with the radiator name
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.
It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run. In the meantime: Integrations → Install from GitHub, with the address GitHub - guim31/gladys-heatzy: Heatzy pilot-wire modules (comfort, eco, frost protection, off) for electric radiators in Gladys Assistant · GitHub
- Enter the email and password of your Heatzy account, then Test the connection.
- Add the modules from the Discovery tab.
An important choice: when you choose a mode from Gladys, the module’s programming is cut off (otherwise Off or Frost Protection would jump to the next slot). This is explained in the documentation.
Honest caveats: it goes through the Heatzy cloud (Internet required), reads the modules every 2 minutes by default, and was developed without a module or account, based on the real responses published by the hass-heatzy project. Settings and programming are always adjusted in the Heatzy app, and nothing is exposed as a thermostat to voice assistants.
Coded with the help of Claude Code. Independent project, not affiliated with Heatzy.
