External integration - Muller Intuitiv (intuis)

Hi everyone!

Second episode of the « maison à la française » series: electric radiators. For many of us, these are Muller, Campa, Airelec, Applimo, or Noirot radiators controlled by the intuis Connect app (formerly « Muller Intuitiv with Netatmo »). Here they are in Gladys, room by room.

What it does

  • One device per room:
    • the measured temperature and the setpoint, from 7 to 30 °C in half-degree increments, maintained for the chosen time and then return to the program;
    • the mode (program or manual) and the pace: schedule, away, frost protection;
    • when your radiators provide it: heating in progress, open window, presence, and the electric consumption of the room, added to Gladys’ energy tracking (including off-peak hours).
  • One device for the home: the home mode (schedule, away, frost protection) and the active program.
  • A widget « Heated Rooms »: all rooms at a glance, and the home mode in one gesture.
  • A scene action « Set the setpoint of a room for a time » (temperature and duration).
  • In French, English, German, and Spanish.

The cool part

The last one to leave the house → Away mode; the first one to come back → return to Schedule
Every evening at 7 p.m. → bathroom at 22.5 °C for one hour, then return to the program
The bedroom window opens in the middle of winter → message « You’re heating the garden! »

Installation

:warning: Gladys 5.2 minimum.

It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run. In the meantime: Integrations → Install from GitHub, with GitHub - guim31/gladys-intuis: Muller Intuitiv (intuis) connected radiators for Gladys Assistant · GitHub

  1. You need radiators with the connected module and the intuis Connect gateway, and an account in the intuis Connect app.
  2. In Gladys: the email and password of the app.
  3. Discovery tab: add the home and your rooms.

Honest small reservations

  • Everything goes through the intuis cloud: without Internet, nothing moves.
  • The weekly program is displayed but can only be modified in the app.
  • No complete shutdown of a room from Gladys, intentionally: frost protection is the safe shutdown, and I didn’t want a poorly set scene to leave a room freezing. No boost either.
  • Consumption arrives with up to a day’s delay, and only on certain radiators. Heating in progress does not exist on fil pilote models.
  • Developed without the radiators. I have since verified at home that the connection to the real intuis cloud goes all the way and properly rejects a fake account, but no one has yet used it with a real account: if you have Muller Intuitiv radiators, your feedback interests me a lot.
