Thanks for the clarification.
Hello. Itâs working.
The integration is smooth and easy ![]()
Device states are reflected in Home and I can control my devices (Home + Siri + Shortcuts)
I added a device and it appeared in Home after restarting the service ![]()
Three notes:
- some devices are read-only on the Gladys side (contact sensor) but are controllable in Home (I can turn them on/off)
- removing a device on the Gladys side doesnât remove it on the Home side (it appears
No Response). I donât know if you can handle that. - I had a disconnection of all devices for a few seconds but I canât reproduce it. Iâll let it run for a few days and report back to you.
Thanks Cyril for this comprehensive feedback
I created a virtual open sensor via MQTT but I canât reproduce what you describe. Could you tell me which device you are using and list all the features associated with that device please? with their category and their type (you can find this info in the database)
When you add/remove an accessory in Gladys you normally need to reload the HomeKit bridge to update the available accessories, you can do this from the integration configuration page.

Can you try and tell me if your device list updates correctly after that?
Did you test with an iPhone/iPad? If so, this disconnection is normal
Yes, itâs an Aqara door/window contact sensor (Aqara MCCGQ11LM control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT) integrated with Zigbee2Mqtt.
All features are read_only = 1
Absolutely, the device disappears from Home ![]()
Absolutely, thanks for the explanation
I unfortunately wonât be able to test with Apple TV or HomePod.
Thatâs perfect, thanks, I was able to reproduce your problem. The latest version of the image fixes that
Hello.
I switched back to the official Gladys image (to benefit from the latest fixes and updates).
For me, this integration is of high quality (in terms of functionality) and could be pushed to more users.
I couldnât test the integration with an Apple TV or a HomePod
(which serves as an always-connected hub).
Ok, thatâs good news!
@bertrandda are there any device types that havenât been tested by @cicoub13 ? Otherwise, Iâm good to go to production

are there any types of devices that have not been tested by
[/
All devices have been tested; only bulbs (on/off, brightness, color and color temperature), switches (e.g., smart plugs on/off) and temperature sensors are compatible for now.
With the latest built image the contact and motion sensors should no longer appear â it was a mapping processing error in early versions.
This first version of the integration is only compatible with basic devices; with requests Iâll add more (as we do for Google Home & Alexa). I wanted to handle cameras in this version but they are not like other devices in HomeKit, it requires much more consideration.
Ok, if everything has been tested then thatâs fine with me. Iâll do a final technical review at the end of the week and Iâll keep you posted ![]()
Iâve just done a review, I have a few comments but nothing major ![]()
Iâm waiting for your feedback @bertrandda, and then itâs fine with me!
Thanks
, I added a test as requested and answered your questions
Thanks! Thatâs fine with me ![]()
Iâve merged into master, it will be included in the next version of Gladys!
Bravo and thanks @bertrandda for your work! Itâs great to see new features like this developed by the community, like Zigbee, which Iâve been using every day since its release ![]()
The integration is available in Gladys Assistant 4.12:
Hello,
Do you know if door sensors will be supported soon? I installed Gladys only for zigbee2mqtt and I only have door sensors, so nothing appears in Home
Which model do you have?
I have lots of door contact sensors that I stuck on my doors; theyâve been working for a long time.
I have Xiaomi sensors and a SONOFF
Nothing is showing up in HomeKit.
My apologies, I misread the topic. I use Zigbee, not HomeKit.
