Names of PWA Gladys and Gladys Community

Greetings!
I have a small request/question…
Would it be possible to give another name to the PWA shortcut of the forum?
On an Android phone, the Gladys App and Gladys Community have the same name…

What do you think?
Have a nice day!

Hello! Can’t you change this name on Android?

On iOS, when I put an icon on the home screen, I decide the name

It doesn’t seem so to me, at least not on all launchers.

I just checked and indeed on the forum the short title was « Gladys », I changed it to « Gladys Forum »

You can reinstall the PWA and the name should be changed!

You can change the shortcut name of Gladys but not the forum’s…
It works anyway, thanks!

I don’t have Gladys on the phone yet, but it will be better when she is. Thank you!

I can rename the two characters

What launcher are you using, out of curiosity?

On Kiss, I don’t have an option to rename.

Good question, it’s true that I hadn’t thought about the launcher.

I have been using Nova for several years.

Oh yes, this is probably one of the most developed. It helps

Greetings!
I’m bumping this thread because I have a new request…
Now, I’m having trouble distinguishing between my shortcut to the local instance and the Gladys Plus instance…
Both are named ‹ Gladys ›
It’s not really a big deal, but is it possible to do something about it (aside from installing a good launcher)?
Have a nice day, everyone!

On Windows 10 I was able to change the name of Gladys Plus during the application’s installation.
You can change the name by going to the application’s properties.

However, on my phone, I don’t remember how I did it but I have 2 different names.
On my tablet it’s impossible to change.

If I’m not mistaken, on Android, at creation it asks for the name (for the local one that’s certain, but for Gladys Plus I don’t remember). In any case I never managed to modify it afterwards. I just rechecked — it’s still the case.
So if needed, delete the icon and recreate it, I think @GBoulvin.

Unfortunately, my default launcher (on Android) doesn’t allow me to rename…
It’s not a big deal at all, right
Thanks for your replies!
