🛸 New page: Gladys' development pace, live

Hi everyone

Right now, development is in full swing: between PRs from everyone, new integrations, fixes… we’ve never shipped so much

So I thought there should be a page on the site where you can follow the development pace and everything that’s going on in real time:

:point_right: Development activity | Gladys Assistant

On the agenda:

  • Commits week by week over a year. The graph speaks for itself: we went from ~4 commits per week in the spring to 55 last week. Thanks, Claude!
  • A « gamified » pace, because it’s more fun. The current level: Light speed :flying_saucer:. Above that, there’s Singularity :milky_way: at 100 commits/week… we’ll see if we get there
  • The latest versions, clickable, with what’s inside.
  • What’s currently in development, right now, with open PRs and their authors.
  • Your accepted feature requests here on the forum, because that’s where a good part of the roadmap comes from.
  • And above all: the 57 people who have contributed to the code since the beginning, with the current podium :1st_place_medal:

Everything is live on GitHub and the forum, it’s live

Do you see anything to add to the page?

Last week’s record has been beaten!!

What if we broke the record next week? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’m going to give it a shot! :rocket:

But I need you: both devs and users. The more we have clear and relevant feature requests, the faster we can accelerate development and roll out useful updates for everyone.

Don’t hesitate to push the requests in Demande de fonctionnalités that you think are important. I’ve already marked quite a few as accepted, and Claude can then process them automatically to help us move even faster. :flexed_biceps:

Your turn: tell us what you miss the most in Gladys (in dedicated topics, not here!!)

Thanks in advance :raising_hands:

I’ll take you at your word, @pierre-gilles  I’ll add feature requests I had noted but not submitted, because I knew the pace of Gladys’ development gave them little chance of being implemented. But that was before…

Already 6 on my end
