Hello everyone,

I’ve been trying, without success, to put my Xiaomi gateway into developer mode to integrate it with Gladys, and I can’t. It seems this is no longer possible. Is there anything I can do?

If I’m not mistaken, it’s indeed impossible on the latest versions of the gateway…
So we should be sure of the model

Check online to identify whether your gateway is French or Chinese — you need the Chinese one. See this article:

Hello everyone. Completely new and a novice in the field, I’m quietly reading posts about the Xiaomi gateway because that’s what I have at home.
To get developer mode, I used an older version of Xiaomi Home, which allows me to see

Normally, if you’ve enabled developer mode, your bridge broadcasts the events on the network.

That said, this integration is quite old, and with all the changes Xiaomi has made since, it’s possible it no longer works.

Why not use your Zigbee devices with Zigbee2mqtt?

Thanks for the feedback, but actually I don’t see anything when I select Xiaomi — the only thing I have is the home page, even though developer mode is enabled. I do see Zigbee when I access the developer mode of my Xiaomi gateway, so I’ll try entering the settings to see if that works.

I think we misunderstood each other, I was talking about using your Xiaomi devices in the Zigbee2mqtt integration ( Gérez ses appareils Zigbee dans sa domotique avec une clé USB Zigbee et Zigbee2mqtt | Gladys Assistant )

You need a Zigbee USB stick for that

Thanks, but I’ve now reset everything to zero and restarted, then I installed an older version of Mi Home on Android and now I can see everything My setup is old and it’s the first time I’ve used this software. It’s in Docker on a Synology.
