Hello, is this plug recognized by Gladys? I can’t seem to configure it (IPv6 is already recognized by Gladys). Thanks for your reply.
Is it Matter over WiFi or Matter over Thread?
If Thread, do you have a Thread border router?
If WiFi, how do you proceed? (directly, or via iOS Home or Android equivalent?)
Matter is not a radio protocol, it’s an application layer. So what we need to know is whether the outlet is Matter over WiFi or Matter over Thread as @mutmut asked?
If it’s WiFi, you usually need to put this code in the manufacturer’s app and then share it.
If it’s Thread, you need a Thread Border Router.
It’s a Matter over Wi-Fi
In this case, you need to put this code in the Silvercrest app and then share it.
I can’t help you further as I don’t know the Lidl app.
Ok for the WiFi.
In Smart Life, you should be able to go to your outlet and then, somewhere, you should be able to do « share » or something like that.
Then the app will give you a code, and that’s the one you put in Gladys.
As a general rule, it’s the sharing code you need to take for Gladys and not the original code.
Once it’s in Gladys, no need for Smart Life or to have the outlet in it anymore.
Thanks @mutmut I found the « Share Matter » tab which indeed gives the sharing code to enter in Gladys. It was the code on the plug that misled me, and which, moreover, I never used. Everything works now. For info, I ordered it online from the Lidl website, thinking it was a Zigbee, like those on sale in stores. I also discovered that it measures electricity consumption, for around 10 euros it’s a great deal. Thanks again and good night.
Good news!
I’ll mark this post as resolved then.
