Good evening,

I wanted to know how matter works.

I bought 1 plug and a button from IKEA.

What do I need to connect it to the mini PC hosting Gladys?

Like Zigbee, do I need a USB key?

Because Gladys asks for an 11-character code and I don’t really know where to find this information.

It all depends on the device.
If it’s Matter over Wi-Fi, in this case, you can usually pair it with the manufacturer’s app and then you can share the device on Matter.

If it’s Matter over Thread, then you need a border router, you can find them from Google, Apple… after that you can find Thread keys that also act as border routers.
