@spenceur: the app isn’t connecting « status"disconnected », yet the cinema is found
I’ll check that as soon as I have 10 minutes ![]()
Hi @Chris75,
Thanks for the report (and the screenshot, very helpful)! I found the issue ![]()
The « Find my cinema » action was indeed returning the Vichy ID (G028P), but the field check was too strict: it only accepted IDs of the type « one letter + 4 digits » (e.g. P0905), whereas AlloCiné actually uses 5-character codes that can have letters elsewhere (Vichy = G028P). The integration was therefore rejecting an ID that it had just given you → hence the « disconnected » status.
This is fixed in version 1.0.1 that I just published. To install it: on the integration page, click on « Force Update », then check that G028P is properly recorded — the status should switch to « Connected » and the movies from your cinema should display.
Let me know if it’s good on your side ![]()
Unfortunately, I can’t do anything about this. Gladys limits the size of images, and Allociné sends a size that’s too large.
And is there no possibility to resize via the integration and a bit of ImageMagick?
As I like to understand, where can I see in detail what Gladys expects when creating a new widget in an external integration?
In all logic, I would say in the SDK for external integrations.
it’s in docs/specs/external-integrations/capabilities/dashboard-widgets.md, section 6 (images),
I deployed a new release that resizes the image, thanks @mutmut for the idea ![]()
@Chris75 your captures are in 1.0.1: poster resizing is in 1.1.0. Click on « Force update » on the integration page, the 2 missing posters should appear.
For the 12 movies vs 14: the Gladys widget grid is limited to 12 cards (widget spec limit). Movies beyond that are therefore hidden in the widget, it’s not a display bug.
The limit is in two places in the same file, dashboard-widgets.md:
Unfortunately not ![]()
Two solutions:
- I develop a « Coming Soon… » widget but in my opinion it’s not the prettiest.
- You submit a feature request with a page system to Pierre-Gilles
I was thinking there might be other solutions to avoid exceeding 12 images:
- First, add text at the bottom of the widget like « …and X other movies: title1, title2,… » when you know there are more than 12 movies
- Add an option in the widget to display all movies / only this week’s releases / only releases > one week. By displaying two widgets with options 2 and 3, there’s a good chance everything will be displayed
- Maybe add a sorting option (alphabetical / by release date / by ratings) to control what won’t be displayed when there are more than 12
For my part, I would prefer a single widget with all the movies.
In the meantime, I’m adding a « link » widget that points to the cinemas and that way I have all the movies and even with the trailers!
