I have a motion detector that I’m using for tests. I don’t want to unplug it after the tests, and I notice that once it’s unplugged, its state in Gladys remains active. (Indeed, when I unplugged it, I was in front of it).
I thought that when powered off, the module in Gladys would switch to inactive.
Is this a bug?
Zigbee2mqtt only operates in value-reception mode for this case. If the device doesn’t send a presence=false, Z2M and therefore Gladys won’t change the value.
We could implement a reset to the initial value after a certain amount of time, but it’s complicated and depends on each device and functionality.
