[RESOLVED] Issue creating chart on Gladys+

Yes unfortunately the front (graph creation) is still down.
The rest seems OK ^^.
I just wanted to report the information to help you with bug tracking.
I didn’t expect to find a bug only on my instance xD

When you navigate through the Gladys Plus interface, does everything else work?

Sorry, I got confused because you had an error « NO_INSTANCE_FOUND », I thought your instance was completely disconnected from Gladys Plus. I was worried :sweat_smile:

If it’s just localized, I think I know what’s wrong :slight_smile:

I’ve created an issue, I’ll go investigate:

This allowed me to see in my logs that everything is OK xD

I saw that too on my G+ instance, I thought it was just on my end.

@spenceur I did a special deployment today with a fix that might also fix your problem:

Second thing, could you open the browser console when you are local (not on Gladys Plus) and open the « Network », « Fetch/XHR » tab and look at the GET devices request?

You need to have the « dashboard editing » view open or you have your problematic graph.

And I want to see the size of the response (cf screenshot)

This is to see if it’s a response size issue, which could potentially be too large for Gladys Plus (we have an upper limit).

@spenceur I’ve looked into your case, and right now I really have no idea what’s wrong with you. There are no server-side errors with your Gladys Plus account.

But I want us to find out :slight_smile:

Just to be sure, I know you’ve already told me all this, but I just want to confirm:

  • Can you guarantee that your DNS issues are resolved? You no longer have any DNS errors in your logs, even after several days of Gladys running?
  • Do you consistently have the problem on this dashboard box, or is it an issue that « sometimes works/sometimes doesn’t »?

If you want, I can suggest a screen-sharing call so you can show me and we can look at it live. That might be more practical than messaging where it’s harder to understand each other.

If you’re up for it, I’m available today, tomorrow, or Friday. We can agree on a time privately. You’ll need SSH access to your Pi and your local instance.
