I came across a LIDL device called « centrale domotique » compatible with Z-Wave. This device costs just under €12. Does anyone use this thing and in what context?
More generally, are there DIYers who take apart and reverse-engineer hardware with a view to integrating it into Gladys?

There are indeed a few electronics tinkerers on the forum — I’ve seen messages go by!
However, I wouldn’t recommend Z-Wave because of the cost of the equipment in general. With Zigbee there are devices between €10 and €15 whereas with Z-Wave it’s more like €20 to €30…
