Currently we use Open-Zwave, a long-standing open-source library for controlling Z-Wave.

Two things:

• This library is no longer maintained. We’re trying to migrate to the new library (ZWaveJS), but it’s a lot of work
• In the meantime, there is little support for the current integration, and some devices are not supported. You need to be patient with these devices

The easiest right now is to use Node-Red for ZWAVE
