Zigbee2mqtt power outlets ON/OFF not working

Hello everyone,

for 2 days, I can no longer turn on/off my LIDL or NOUS connected smart plugs.
However, the power consumption of the NOUS or the Lixee is being reported correctly.
reboot, disabling/enabling zigbee2mqtt, nothing works.

here is a diagram of my setup, knowing that it’s a local Gladys on an RPI 3B, hosted on a USB SSD.
v4.12.2

In the gladys Docker logs, I see a warning
Zigbee2mqtt device 0xa4c138a4089efdc0, feature power_outage_memory not configured in Gladys.
without knowing if it is related.
Also, I have seen this setup working, the Lidl plug of the switch is 30cm from Gladys, but it no longer toggles either.

I don’t know how to debug.

And from the Zigbee2Mqtt interface (http://adresse_ip_du_pi:8080/) does it work?

I didn’t know about this interface, cool, I’ll check it out

No, error when I try to turn on a plug

You don’t have anything working on your Zigbee network anymore, do you?

Maybe a problem with your Zigbee dongle?

Have you already tried rebooting your Pi?

In this interface, there is a schematic creation that shows my equipment.
I’ve restarted my Raspberry Pi (PI) several times, yes, but it’s no better.

Otherwise, indeed I no longer have the electrical consumption graph of our devices now

And is your dongle plugged directly into a USB port on the Raspberry Pi?

Because sometimes the Raspberry Pi’s power supply isn’t able to properly power a USB SSD and a Zigbee or Z-Wave dongle…
In that case you need to add a USB hub with its own power supply

I changed the USB port but it’s the same.
ok I’ll try changing the power supply

not just to change the power supply but to use a powered USB hub

Done:

sudo dmesg -1024

You may get a warning about the power supply.
I’ve had that happen with a Pi 3B+ and a Pi 4. Hence my switch to a mini PC.

And even simpler, put a USB extension cable at least 50 cm long between your Raspberry Pi and your ZigBee dongle.
On the ZigBee configuration page in Gladys, is your dongle properly configured?

Thanks for your replies
I changed the power supply and it’s back in order,
another power supply problem, I’m used to it…
I was on a 2A adapter, switched to 2.5A.
hoping this helps others.

You’re not the only one — a Pi + SSD = a power supply problem in general

I had a Pi 4 with a 15W 3A power supply and I had the problem.
I sold my Pi 4 with the original power supply for €140 and bought a mini PC for €100 and a keyboard for €30, I made €10 and gained stability in my setup.

Hopefully your power supply holds up because €10 each time adds up quickly.

Yes, I’m watching leboncoin in my area looking for a good mini PC
And the power supply of your mini PC — what wattage is it?

It’s a 65W, 19V, 3.30A.
And I put the OS in power-saving mode.
