How to connect a Matter plug to Wi-Fi

Hello community,

I just acquired a Meross MSS315 plug compatible with Matter.

I’m facing a pretty basic problem: how do I connect my plug to the Wi‑Fi without any communication interface with the plug? Apart from opening my Wi‑Fi to everyone without a password to allow the plug to join the network, I don’t see how the plug will be able to recognize which network to choose (I have three different ones) and which password to present to the network.

If you have any ideas, I’m interested.

Thank you for your reply.

I’ve already read it but it only talks about pairing with the Meross app, without addressing the Wi-Fi part. I tried their tutorial without success.

Normally, if I’m not mistaken the pairing is done with the app which will connect via Bluetooth to the plug to configure the Wi‑Fi.
