Various UX corrections

@pierre-gilles,

Here are some UX corrections for mobile display. On the screenshots to the right is before, and to the left is the correction I made.
If there are any other points while I’m at it…

And now I’m fixing the part below for Gladys Plus. The text « Most popular » is hidden

And the correction

I’ll put the PR in this week

Thanks for the fixes, it’s super clean! :ok_hand:

Some feedback:

  • For the “New” button in the Home section, on mobile view, we should simply hide the label “New” to keep only the ”+”. It’s a pattern we already use in several places in Gladys. :slightly_smiling_face:
  • Same comment for the “Save Now” button: we should see if we can use an explicit icon on mobile, or simply shorten the text so that it fits on one line.

I love these little details that make all the difference! :+1:

if you see other things don’t hesitate to flag them while I’m making corrections of this type

@pierre-gilles,

Here’s the + button fixed

and the save icon → I shortened it and replaced the text with an icon

I’ll continue tomorrow as I found a few more small fixes to make

Which version do you prefer for the Calendar section?

I did the same for Enedis:
before:

after correction

Both :sweat_smile:
Icon on mobile and text on desktop

For the desktop text, it’s fine as I don’t touch it. For the icons, I don’t know because the buttons are found in many places, here for the calendar, but in the devices, the Enedis meter… if I put icons, there will be no consistency
@pierre-gilles what do you think about it?

In the energy tracking, the text below is too large

It should be shortened

For now, I’ve put this, but I’m waiting for your feedback to modify it:

That’s super clean @Will_71, thanks so much for the effort!!

In this specific case, I prefer with the buttons on 2 lines, because the icons alone are not enough to understand what they do. And « Reset », it’s a risky destructive action that can be easily confused with the refresh button :smiley:

Yes that’s great!

I also prefer it with the buttons without the icons. :grinning_face:

@pierre-gilles, here is the PR

Thanks! I’ll check it out tomorrow :slight_smile:
