Create a super virtual device

A friend of mine just got a Jeedom box (I had told him about Gladys, though, but people are stubborn :D) and he told me about the possibility for him to create virtual devices, which are made up of features from different devices on the home automation network, regardless of type (Wi‑Fi / Zigbee / Z‑Wave / etc…)

I thought the idea was great and I was wondering if such a feature would be feasible for us?

For example, this could address a recurring problem I have: in my HOME dashboard I want to have, among other things, the temperatures of the main rooms, because that allows controlling the heating accordingly.

However I can only display them in x different boxes (one per room) :

I would love to be able to create a fake device Room temperatures to use that would give something like this :

What do you think?

I think your request matches this better:

Which is a fairly commonly requested feature

So yes you’re right… and no that’s not quite it

Let me explain: I showed an example that was the first I had on hand and indeed it corresponds to the existing feature request. But I think the idea is more global, not just about a room.

Let’s say that maybe the notion of a virtual super device (sorry I don’t know what else to call it) is the answer to @VonOx’s feature request?

I prefer to create a virtual device that gathers the data I want and that I can use wherever I want in the dashboards by adding it in a few clicks, rather than creating custom boxes on the different dashboards, where I have to add each time the features I want to see appear. I’m not sure if I’m being clear ^^

Not yet, for me it’s still the request above

Upon reflection I think either my idea isn’t mature enough, or I’m getting my wires crossed
We can close this here, I think, to free up the votes and look at Vonox’s request!
