Hello everyone!

Series « maison à la française », episode alarm: the Diagral e-ONE, it’s the wireless alarm you’ll find in a lot of houses, often installed by the previous owner with its little box in the entrance. It’s coming to Gladys, with its triggers, its activations, and its weakening batteries.

What it does

  • An « Alarm » device, with:
    • the status: Off, Exit Delay, Full On, Partial On, Presence On;
    • the active groups;
    • the clear anomalies: low batteries, self-protection, communication failure…;
    • with Gladys Plus and the « Real-time Alarms » option checked, « Alarm in Progress » at the moment of a trigger.
  • Three triggers: « Diagral Alarm Triggered », « Diagral Armed or Disarmed » (with who did it), « Diagral Anomaly Reported ».
  • An action « Arm or Disarm Diagral ».
  • A widget: the status, the anomalies, and the Full On, Partial, Presence and Off buttons (the Off button requires confirmation).
  • In French, English, German and Spanish.

Arm from Gladys is disabled by default: you choose in the configuration between nothing, arm only, or arm and disarm. And the status is never a switch: no voice assistant can disarm the house by mistake.

Installation

:warning: Gladys 5.1 minimum, and Gladys Plus for real-time triggers.

  1. You need a Diagral e-ONE alarm (box DIAG56AAX or central DIAG99AGX) and the Diagral app account.
  2. In Gladys: the email and password, the box serial number (on the label inside) and your access code. Choose what Gladys is allowed to do (nothing by default).
  3. For live triggers (Gladys Plus): paste an Open API key in the webhooks block and check « Real-time Alarms ». Read the warning just below before doing so.

Honest small reservations

  • No triggers without Gladys Plus: the Diagral cloud has no history, an intrusion only comes through the webhook. Without it, the integration reads the status every 5 minutes (adjustable) and « Alarm in Progress » remains empty rather than displaying a false « all is well ».
  • One webhook per box at Diagral: if another software (Home Assistant, Jeedom…) has already registered one, the « Real-time Alarms » option replaces it, and it will no longer receive anything. That’s why it’s unchecked by default: without it, the integration never touches the existing webhook.
  • No detector status (open door, movement): the API only gives their anomalies.
  • Developed without the alarm. I checked from my place that the connection to the real Diagral cloud goes all the way and properly refuses a fake account, but no one has used it with a real account yet: if you have a Diagral alarm, your feedback interests me a lot. The Gladys Plus path has not been tested end-to-end.
