Hello everyone!
The « cars » series continues: after Renault, Stellantis, Hyundai/Kia, and Tesla, here come the Škoda cars connected to the MySkoda app. Electric, plug-in hybrid, but also petrol and diesel: everyone has at least the temperature, doors, and mileage.
What it does
- One device per car.
- For electric and plug-in hybrid cars:
- the battery level, electric range, charging status, whether the car is plugged in or not;
- charging power and remaining charging time;
- controls: charge (on/off), charging limit, air conditioning and its temperature.
- For all: outdoor temperature, locking, doors, trunk, and windows open, fuel level and range, mileage, and GPS position (disabled by default).
- A trigger « Charge completed », and scene actions « Refresh », « Lock a Škoda », and « Unlock a Škoda ».
- A « My Škoda » widget: air conditioning, charging, locking, and refresh.
- In French, English, German, and Spanish.
Locking requires the S-PIN from the app and confirmation. Unlocking only exists as a scene action, never as a button, and it is denied as long as the « Allow unlocking » option is disabled, which is the default setting. A rejected S-PIN is never sent again until you re-register the configuration, to avoid locking the account.
The cool part
7:15 a.m. on weekdays → air conditioning at 21°C, the car is warm when you get out
11:00 p.m., the car has been left open → « Lock a Škoda » and a message to warn
Charge completed → « Enyaq charged to 80% » on the phone
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.

- In Gladys: the email and password of the MySkoda account, and the S-PIN if you want to lock from Gladys.
- Test the connection (and Verify the S-PIN, which displays the remaining attempts).
- Discovery tab: add your cars.
Honest small reservations
- No real-time: the integration reads the cloud every 15 to 120 minutes (30 by default). It never wakes the car up, to avoid draining its battery.
- A command accepted by the cloud is only confirmed at the next car reading.
- No auxiliary heating, horn, flashers, or timers.
- Developed without a car. I verified from home that the real VW group connection goes all the way and properly recognizes an unknown account (« Škoda does not know this email address »), without ever sending the password. The commands and the S-PIN have never been tested on a real Škoda: if you have one, your feedback is welcome.
