Hello everyone,
I present to you a new external integration for Gladys: August / Yale. It allows you to control connected locks and video doorbells from August and Yale: Yale Linus / Linus L2, Assure Lock, Conexis L2, Unity, August Smart Lock, August View, Yale Smart Video Doorbell…
It goes through the August / Yale cloud (the same as the official apps) and works with August, Yale Access and Yale Home accounts.
What it brings
- Locks: lock / unlock, battery, door state (DoorSense), keypad battery, Wi-Fi bridge status badge
- Video doorbells: last image, ring, motion detection, battery
- Real-time: events arrive in a few seconds
- Scene triggers:
- Lock operated: filter on the action and the way (app, remotely, keypad, manually, auto-lock, fingerprint, badge), with the person’s name as a variable
« when Marie unlocks at the keypad, disable the alarm » - Lock jammed, Doorbell pressed, Motion in front of the doorbell
- Lock operated: filter on the action and the way (app, remotely, keypad, manually, auto-lock, fingerprint, badge), with the person’s name as a variable
- Scene actions: lock, unlock, open (retract the latch), capture an image from the doorbell. Each one indicates if it succeeded.
- Widgets: a lock with its buttons (or all, with « Lock all »), the doorbell, the door activity history (who, how, when)
- Security: option to disable unlocking from Gladys, confirmation on unlock buttons
- Available in

This is a first version. The cloud API is not publicly documented, and Yale is migrating Yale Home accounts to a new login method. Your feedback is precious, especially if you have a Yale Home account or a video doorbell: open a GitHub issue or reply here ![]()
