Access to Gladys Plus lost

I think I’ve messed up again.
I installed V4 on an unused rpi.
I try to connect to it to run a few tests.. impossible.
After several attempts, I decide to reinstall a clean image.
I can access it and try to log in.. login, recovery key.. none work, asking me to check the recovery key!!
It must be good since I can see all the backups.
I am asked to choose a user from the list and nothing but dashes or temp user.
I choose temp user but since then it refuses me everything..
« Invalid email or password »
Even my attempt to log in to Gladys Plus (Gladys Assistant) fails: « Your user is not accepted locally, please go back to your Gladys instance and authorize access to this user in the settings. »
I no longer know what I should finally do to regain access to v4 and the gladys plus account.
Help please :disappointed_relieved:

Your recovery key is not correct.

When you perform a restore, the process creates a temp-user in Gladys for the duration of the restore. However, if your restore fails because the key is incorrect, you end up in a « bastard » state because your instance is in a state with the temp user, without your data because your recovery key is not correct.

Did you have important data in your backups?

If not, I advise you to simply start with a fresh instance and connect your Gladys Plus account in the settings. This time, make sure to properly save your recovery key, as it is impossible to recover a recovery key. That’s the principle of end-to-end encryption: the key is with you and only with you.

Thanks @pierre-gilles
That must be it then.
Nothing important as it’s just tests.
I thought I had already recovered a backup with this key… no matter.
Meanwhile, I connected a screen to the rpi and it tells me
EXT4-fs error (device mmcblk0p2) ext4_find_entry:1532 inode:#24145

And also
Read-error on swap-device

What does all this mean?

After a Google search, it’s probably a power supply issue on your Pi!

I could have looked for that too. I thought it was a code initiated by Gladys.
Sorry. Thanks for your help.
Before I forget, I had an idea for adding to Gladys, connecting a fan to a pin that we could activate in Gladys. It can happen that the little beast overheats and since Gladys monitors its temperature.

You can indeed connect a fan, but I don’t think it necessarily belongs in Gladys, the cooling part could be managed by the system

Ha, I’ll look it up on the net then.
I saw there a convenience for the average user who doesn’t get their hands on the code.

I don’t know if we want to promote the use of a fan, ARM processors don’t heat up much, and in the worst case you can use passive cooling with a heat sink (which can be found in this kind of kit)

To need a fan, you really have to push the Raspberry Pi to its limits with sustained use over a long period of time ^^

Are you doing something special on your Pi that makes it heat up?

No no not at all but I plan to put it in a smaller box with Arduino, 433 transmitter and LED and I was afraid it would overheat.
Just a safety measure.
IF it’s safe don’t worry.
