Ability to adjust brightness and temperature

You will tell me that you can already change a bulb’s color temperature and brightness.

Yes that’s true, you can change it but one bulb at a time.

I have a hub with all the bulbs in my dining room and I would like to be able to change the color temperature or brightness or the color of all my bulbs at the same time, like is possible for switching them on.

I voted!
Anything that makes managing multiple devices simultaneously easier is welcome :ok_hand:

I had forgotten to vote !!

You create an MQTT device and control everything with a scene.

You are absolutely right, but just like the ability to Activate / Deactivate a scene from a box on the dashboard (something you can do with a fake MQTT device + a scene) I think it would be very interesting to be able to do it natively.
Par ailleurs je ne sais pas s’il est possible de créer un device mqtt qui soit un slider  ?
It’s a

Here is one of my shutters :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Which feature did you use?
Because I can’t find a dimmer switch on my end.

Dimmer in English => variateur in French

I knew about the translation, but I didn’t see it under sockets; I saw it more in the switch or lighting category, that’s why.

Another little hack thanks to the MQTT integration.

That’s great !! thanks !!!

@VonOx could you explain to us how you

Hi,

Here’s how I configured it, I copied what @VonOx did.
Keep in mind that it’s not a sensor if you want to manage it with Gladys.

@_Will_71 is right, your feature is read-only, whereas it’s a device you want to control

OK I understood that part, which I hadn’t unchecked.

For your shutter that you manage with scenes; you must have created 2 or 3 scenes (closed, open, middle).
But for a temperature variation ranging from 1 to 500 with scenes that’s not manageable.

In that case I need to create only 5 or 6 values to have a variation.

Is my reasoning correct?

Yes, that’s what I did: one « open » scene with the value 99 and a second scene to close where I set the value to 0.
If needed, if I want an intermediate position I have to create one or more additional scenes.

I’m going to make a thread to explain all this.
Can’t wait to be able to duplicate the scenes (8 bulbs across 5 or 6 scenes).

Uh, rather:
Can’t wait to have this feature!
