Zigbee : Fingerbot

Hello, I’m trying to get this actuator working:

The Fingerbot is properly recognized in Zigbee2MQTT and I think I wrote the MQTT messages correctly.

Besides, Zigbee is all new to me so I probably messed something up somewhere because nothing triggers the Fingerbot

Thank you for your help

Hello @thekassmachine

That seems fine to me!

Have you looked in the Zigbee2mqtt dev console to see if you notice anything in particular?

When you control them from the Zigbee2mqtt interface, does everything work?

Ok, so I’m starting from scratch…
Where is the console located?
From the interface I can see the device I paired, but how do I control it?

I added arrows to your screenshot

I admit that using Wi‑Fi with the gateway is simpler… but I want to do without the gateway…

I also had to send a message and after a few tries I understood that you shouldn’t put an object in the description, just what you want to send.

Example for a get :

In your case, it would rather be /set/toggle with an empty message (\"\") or an on depending on your need or the specifics of your object.

Thanks Imilcent, I tried but without success…

Too bad :frowning:

And in the « Log » section of Zigbee2MQTT, if you filter by the name of your device and try the different requests you want to make in Gladys, what do you see?

The log should display the error related to your request, which will help understand what isn’t working.

@thekassmachine so when you control the Fingerbot from the Zigbee2mqtt interface, does it work or not?

Good evening, sorry for the late reply… I’ve had a lot to do lately… I’m finally getting back to setting up my Gladys
The Fingerbot works via a Zigbee gateway
