ZigBee2mqtt down for a long time

Hello, Zigbee is capricious, not very reliable in my opinion, already one module failed and we don’t know why, ghost Zigbee yesterday, by chance I look at the config page and oh miracle the green check appeared, I’m wary, look at the pairing page everything is ok I pair the two only modules I have left it works, I have a thermo leak-detection module, everything’s ok except Gladys no info reported even though it found the module, let’s move on, I tell myself it’s too good to be true, restart my Pi to see, and then back to square one still that damned red cross. For me that’s it Zigbee I give up but what else reliable and hassle-free? that is the question!

@pascal_sapin I think you’ve had quite a few cascading issues that led to a bad experience with Zigbee, but that’s not the norm. Zigbee is the #1 technology used on Gladys and works well for many users! ^^ You must have a hardware issue (it happens) that makes your setup unstable… But with functioning hardware, Zigbee is very simple to set up and very stable.

FYI this may help others, I finally managed to pair my dongle, I followed this: https://

Indeed there must be an issue on your side (probably hardware, as we’ve already discussed), because on my side I have over 40 Zigbee devices and everything has been working perfectly for months and months.

None of this makes sense, I’m running from an SD card and the dongle consumes 100 mA max, I have the original 3A power supply, the USB 2.0 ports are rated at 500 mA, normally there should be enough, I’ll find something!! Just measured the dongle at 17 mA, we’re far from 500 mA

Exactly, so you have a problem with your zigbee2mqtt network.

Is the port correct? If so, your dongle or its firmware isn’t working.
