Ugreen Dh2300 compatibility

Hello, I would like to get a Ugreen DH2300 NAS (octa-core ARM Rockchip RK3576 clocked at 2.2 GHz, with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM) and I would like to know if Gladys could run on this kind of hardware using Docker or do I need a more powerful model?

@pierre-gilles

Hello @Tidus. I don’t know that UGREEN NAS model. As for me, I’ve had a DXP4800 Plus for a few months on which I installed Ubuntu Server 24.04, then Docker and Docker Compose. I then installed Gladys to test it and it works perfectly. In my opinion, you shouldn’t have any problem installing Gladys.

DH models are entry-level, so much less ‹ powerful â€ş than the DXP series. Hence my question: is that sufficient, or would the DXP series be necessary…

Hi @Tidus,

The CPU looks ok (it’s ARM64 architecture, right?), the 4 GB RAM is sufficient, however, what’s the storage?

The most important thing to have a smooth Gladys is that Gladys runs on an SSD :slight_smile:

The ARM Cortex-A72 is a 64-bit chip. Since 2024 it has been extremely rare to see non-IoT devices running 32-bit.

Performance-wise, it’s more than sufficient.
