I managed to connect to overkitz Atlantic
I have a device that is found « MODBUSLINK »

But absolutely not my water heater.
What do you need?

I had the same thought as you at first and then I saw the message in the integration that said it wasn’t available yet.

For information, I spoke with @cicoub13 this morning in PM and he should normally work on the hot water balloons issue on Wednesday :wink:

Hi. I started looking into it but I think we’ll need to modify the core of Gladys to add a new type of device. We could do it now but it’s a bit of a hack and the feature labels aren’t clear.
I’m currently writing a specification to add it to Gladys.
Once that’s done, I can add it to the Overkiz integration.

The specification has been validated and I implemented it this evening (in the water heater category in Gladys). As soon as it’s reviewed and accepted, I’ll start adding it to Overkiz.

The water heater category is now available in Gladys :tada: (waiting for the next official version to be deployed for everyone).

The integration on the Gladys Overkiz side is done, based on this new category.

The image is here (to be used in development mode in the Overkiz external integration) ONCE GLADYS is updated on your end:

For info, you need to modify the `gladys_version` in the `gladys-assistant-integration.json` file to set it to >= 4.85.0 (the next version, which I will release in a few minutes)

It’s super important to properly define this parameter; it allows you to exclude incompatible instances :wink:
