Most popular Home Assistant integrations → candidates for Gladys external integrations

No problem, that’s why I created the tracking page, it’s starting to get complicated to follow

I’m using ASUSWRT and Magic Home

Last batch of the day on my side (ASUSWRT being taken by @Will_71, I’m changing target):

  • La Poste: tracking Colissimo, Chronopost packages and tracked letters via the official API, with scenes when a package is shipped or arrives
  • PrusaLink: Prusa printers (MK4, Core One, XL, MINI+) locally, to complement OctoPrint, Moonraker and Bambu Lab
  • Sensibo: the boxes that control air conditioners via infrared

If anyone was already on it, let me know

And the self-hosted series has been released, each with its own thread in Development:

  • qBittorrent / Transmission and SABnzbd / NZBGet: bandwidth, queues, pause from a scene
  • Overseerr / Jellyseerr: movie and series requests, and a trigger when they arrive
  • Paperless-ngx: arrived documents and the inbox
  • Mealie: the menu of the day and the shopping list
  • Grocy: expirations, stocks, and household tasks
  • Nextcloud, TrueNAS, and Syncthing
  • Minecraft Server: who is connected to the kids’ server

All on SDK 0.15 and in four languages. This time, almost all have been tested against the real software, launched for the occasion (qBittorrent, Transmission, SABnzbd, NZBGet, Overseerr, Paperless, Mealie, Nextcloud, two connected Syncthing, a Minecraft server). Grocy was checked in read-only mode on its official demo, and only TrueNAS is really blind: if you have one, your feedback interests me.

By the way, thanks @Will_71 for the integration tracking: it made me discover a duplicate on Mealie, which I reported in the announcement. I now use it to choose the next ones.

Come on, I’ll go with Oral-B.

But… Do we actually have access to Bluetooth in the end?

I thought so…

« Since the Gladys container doesn’t have access to Bluetooth, I’m opting for a local BLE → MQTT gateway (Theengs Gateway / OpenMQTTGateway / ESPHome) with direct decoding of Oral-B frames in the integration. I’ll now retrieve the Oral-B protocol reference. »

We agree that this isn’t very user-friendly compared to Gladys’ philosophy…

Should I let Claude proceed in this direction or cancel?

The last batch of the day is out:

  • La Poste: tracking for Colissimo, Chronopost packages and tracked letters
  • PrusaLink: local Prusa printers
  • Sensibo: infrared-controlled air conditioners

All three were developed without the hardware or a real account: your feedback is welcome.

By the way, the PrusaLink review found a bug in my OctoPrint, Moonraker, and Bambu Lab integrations: the webcam image was sent to Gladys with the wrong identifier and never reached the dashboard. This is fixed in 1.0.2 for all three, just update.

That’s twelve integrations today on my side, I’ll let the forum breathe a bit ^^

I don’t know where we stand with Bluetooth in Gladys.
Let’s wait for @pierre-gilles’s opinion, but it’s certain that Bluetooth devices would work better directly than going through gateways.
