As the number of integrations is going to explode with this version, would it be possible to add the following filters to the left menu: Native, Community, Local, Cloud, Gladys Plus, … for faster selection

I’d be curious to understand what your needs are and what frustrates you when you use this page right now?
If you’re looking for a particular integration that you’ve seen on the forum, for example, there’s a search bar at the top of the page 
It’s true that the search bar already helps a lot!
For my part, I’m not sure that the filters you propose @Chris75 are the solution.
Rather filters by category?
Like: Camera, Energy, Vacuums, etc. to discover new integrations and maybe try to buy equipment, to go further in your home automation
Well, it’s simple: to discover the new integrations, I have to scroll through all the integrations to find the new ones, and the day there are a thousand of them… or maybe I didn’t understand how this page works?
Yet on the side, there are the filters « communication » « calendar » « weather »
and yes, we could also add these ones!

Why not! After that, I would rather wait a bit until we have a bit more integrations to better see the categories emerge

I still think they’re useful, but I agree that we’ll probably need to revisit the breakdown. I think that once we have more integrations, we’ll start to identify common points between certain groups, which will allow us to group them together to get more coherent and better-balanced categories

Following recent feedback (including this topic), I had a spec written to review the navigation of the Integrations page: docs(spec): integration catalog categories & filters (RFC) by Pierre-Gilles · Pull Request #2860 · GladysAssistant/Gladys · GitHub
The situation: the catalog now has 81 integrations (36 native + 45 community — the store is now the majority), including 62 in the « Devices » category. A category that contains 77% of the catalog is no longer useful, and its name is confusing: several users look for their device list there, not integrations.
What the spec proposes:
- 12 categories by usage domain, derived from the actual catalog content: heating/air conditioning (the largest real cluster, invisible today!), lighting & outlets, energy, cameras & security, multimedia, home appliances & garden, weather & environment, protocols & gateways, network, notifications, voice assistants & AI, services. An integration can belong to multiple categories (Shelly = lighting and energy).
- Cumulative filters in addition: native/community, local/cloud, Gladys Plus — and a « New Releases » sort to discover what just came out without re-scrolling everything.
- No breaking technical changes: the
typefield and the URLs of the integration pages do not change. Categories become an optionalcategoriesfield in the manifest of community integrations, with a fallback mapping on the store side so that the 45 existing integrations are classified from day one, without asking the authors to do anything.
The spec contains the proposed classification of the 81 current integrations — that’s mainly what I’m interested in your feedback on: do the categories make sense to you? Would you classify some integrations elsewhere?
These filters will definitely be very useful for integration search as scrolling endlessly is tiring!
- I would also like a « general filter » to hide integrations that are already installed, like in the Zigbee device discovery page, which would shorten the relevant list
