In the field of graphs it is useful, even necessary, to compare values over a given period.
For example, an hour’s temperature compared to the previous one or a day’s electricity consumption compared to the previous day. Today, to compare, it is necessary to make a copy during the period in question.

But for me this falls outside the scope of « UX improvements », it’s really the development of a new feature But totally legitimate

In the field of graphs, I often have sensor bugs and to put them back into service I have to erase everything to re-add them. In the end, I cannot keep the curves for a whole year. Would it be possible to save the values to re-inject them after re-adding the sensor?

Shouldn’t we try to find out why you’re having bugs? There’s clearly an underlying issue there…

I’ve had a fairly robust Gladys installation for a year, and I haven’t had any problems in that time… Please create a specific thread in Configuration with a clear explanation of your problem

In the field of graphs the values are available for a maximum period of one year. In the list of devices being integrated unlimited duration is offered. What happens to the values recorded beyond one year?

They are still in Gladys, but you’re right — currently inaccessible to the user.

Would it be possible to have graphs spanning multiple years or at least the values in CSV so as to create a graph outside Gladys? (feature request Nov 2023)

To my knowledge @Terdious was working on this topic but I haven’t had any news since. I’ll let them answer you
