Matterbridge and Synology NAS

Hello,

I just installed Gladys Assistant on my Synology NAS to control my Daikin air conditioning, my SOMFY home automation, and my Shelly devices. Everything should be compatible via MatterBridge, but when I try to activate the MatterBridge integration, I get an error message that I don’t understand: « Gladys is not currently running in Docker, it is impossible to activate Matterbridge from Gladys. »

What should I do? Thanks in advance

Hi @Arnaud_Jully

I have a few questions/requests to help you out

  • which Synology model?
→ This will already help determine if the processor is compatible with Matterbridge.
  • how did you launch your container:
    → via a project?
    → via « create a new container »?
→ I strongly recommend going through a project.
  • if you went through a project, can you share your docker compose with us?
  • are ALL the directories present?
  • can you copy/paste the docker logs for gladys?

With all this, I’ll be able to test on my DS918+ and guide you towards a solution (if it’s within my capabilities  ).

  1. which Synology model?
→ This will already allow us to see if the processor is compatible with Matterbridge

Synology NAS DS225+

I went through a new Container

  1. if you went through a project, can you share your docker compose with us?
  2. do ALL the directories exist?
  3. can you copy/paste the docker logs for gladys?

No issues with this model, you might want to add some RAM to be more comfortable.

For me, this isn’t the best option as it’s not flexible enough for me (very personal opinion).
Can you take a screenshot of your parameters like my screenshot below?

This will help to see if something is wrong.

You can copy/paste the Gladys logs at the time of matterbridge activation?
It’s in the Log tab of the container.

And in the Containers, do you see one called gladys-matterbridge (if you have activated the matterbridge integration via gladys)?
