It all depends on what you want to use it for.
Youâre assuming that you want to compare two products.
But in Gladys you canât compare two scenes.
I just want to list the scenes that share the
The thing is weâre talking about two fairly different concepts.
I personally see tags as a filter and others see them as a way to sort. A filter works like a funnel: the more you add, the more it narrows what comes out.
So it seems logical to me that they work like an AND.
In fact, nothing is impossible even with this behavior:
@Terdious for HP / HC, you just need to create a « higher-level » tag that could be called Plages HP-HC (Iâm saying this off the top of my head, youâd want something more fitting and meaningful to you).
So you tag your scenes:
For peak hours: Plages HP-HC + HP
For off-peak hours: Plages HP-HC + HC
Which is ultimately what we all more or less did by tinkering with the names of our scenes to find them.
And then you can do OR by checking your HP or HC tag and AND by checking Plages HP-HC +
For me itâs the behavior that seems the most obviousâŠ
Even though I understand well what youâre saying @Hizo
The arguments of @guim31 and @spenceur also make sense.
Like @spenceur, I also came to understand another perspective in the process.
Consensus will be difficult; in any case, some people will have to add more tags to find their way.
If we had to vote, Iâd go for AND. (some kind of Doodle poll for that?)

@pierre-gilles : Thanks. I just had the feedback corrected
I think we can go with it in the end.
Unless thereâs a way to satisfy everyone, but I donât think thatâs the philosophy of making everything customizable
Thanks! Iâve re-reviewed it: Fix return tag scene by callemand · Pull Request #1946 · GladysAssistant/Gladys · GitHub
