Integration / Heating

Hello everyone,

After using HomeAssistant for a few years, I have been a silent user of Gladys for a few months and I’m delighted to have switched

I’m closely following the developments, particularly the development of the new integrations feature.

At the same time, I came across an integration for my radiators that didn’t exist when I was using HA: MyNeomitis - Home Assistant

I just tried it with Claude Sonnet (free version) and was able to port it to Gladys.

The port is currently very limited and there are bugs, but I can at least connect to my Neomitis account, detect my radiators, and add one (for now, adding the next one doesn’t work  ).

In short, my initial goal was to explore feasibility, and it seems to be the case.

Before taking the pro version of Claude, I wanted to get a second opinion on porting this integration.

For the future, I’m wondering about managing a heating system in Gladys like Versatile Thermostat does.

I saw that this is being developed: Feature Thermostat complète
Could this feature evolve quickly during the intensive week?

Absolutely agree, I upvote  this request/proposal for an advanced global heating/air conditioning management module.

Personally, this is a priority, beyond the fact that advanced thermostats may (perhaps?) become mandatory, it’s an economic and environmental necessity…

I have a 90s all-electric house and despite the insulation and solar panels, the bill is rising.

As heating, I have convectors on the upper floor and a heated floor with 2 zones on the ground floor. For the convectors, I tested the Nodon fil pilote heating module, it works but you need at least 2 or 3 scenes per convector… which quickly becomes unmanageable…

For the heated floor… I thought I would see this during the summer… I have an electromechanical thermostat per zone, a programming clock (eco/comfort) and power relays in the electrical panel. What to replace this equipment with and how to control it, that’s the whole question?

I can’t be the only one in this situation, beyond the personal case, I think a good « user-friendly Â» management module would probably attract new users (or even subscribers!) looking for solutions…

Hello everyone,

I couldn’t wait any longer! Here is V1 of the Neomitis integration, which, for me, is fully functional.

Since I don’t have all the supported Neomitis radiators, I couldn’t test everything, but this can be updated if there are any errors as we go along.

Created with Claude Code Pro (Opus 5.0) and following the instructions.

The repository is here: GitHub - Dreamthy/gladys-neomitis · GitHub

It should normally be available automatically in the Gladys store within a few hours.

Don’t hesitate to give me your feedback!
